I have been thinking of a way to not only challenge myself to use more of my STUFF that I have but also generate a little fun on my blog too! And I came up with a grand plan!

Want to play a little game of BINGO??

If ya do, here's what ya do! See those things over there on the side, yeah the list of tools/embellishments and techniques ?? Make a list of 15 items and email them to me. Dont forget to save a copy of your list for yourself so you can keep up. Then come back here and check my blog daily to see which ones I have crossed off, as I use them in my creations.

Leave me a comment that you are checking in. You will get BINGO if all your words are crossed off first! And the WINNER....are you ready for this??? The winner will get a

$25 gift certificate
to spend at

It is one of my most favoritest blogs/websites online! So go NOW, and tell your friends to come and play too! I will accept emails until 7pm on Friday (the 2nd). I dare you to try this yourself! Can YOU use up some of your stuff too???

Oh yeah heres my email: heavnlivn@yahoo.com , please put BINGO in the subject line!

The contest will begin on Monday, the 5th!

**edited to add: I will not be keeping up with your lists at all. It is up to you to SHOUT Bingo if you are a winner! The only reason that I am keeping a copy is so that when you call BINGO I can verify you are the winner!

No offense, but it sure is great to....

It feels good to put the Christmas stuff away doesnt it? I looove the holiday season, but it feels fantastic to break out the other stamps and see what else can be made too. This is just a generic baby card I made. Dont know about you, but it seems like I never have a baby card when I need one. Either that or its blue when I need pink or pink when I need blue.

I hope you all are enjoying your time with the kids. Go and be blessed!

So...whats on YOUR resolution list this year? Anyone have anything absolutely crazy? Not the normal--lose those extra pounds, spend less $$ blah blah blah... is anyone hoping to climb a really big mountain? Write the next Best Seller or anything fantabulous!?!? I would sooo love to hear from you.

Happy Birthday Baby Girl

Exactly 7 years ago today this is the site I was looking at.

My baby girl who was born a month early was grasping for every breath she took. Her lungs were under developed and the hospital that we were at was not equipped to handle such things. They blew both of her lungs while trying to ventilate her with a machine that was too hard for her little system. It was the most traumatic experience of my life. She was later airlifted to another hospital, 3 hours away in North Carolina and her road to recovery finally took hold. I was able to hold her for the first time on day 14 of her life and we didnt take her home for 5 days after that. Even then she went home with an IV. The following years were chaotic as she stayed on cough medications non stop and underwent sinus surgery.

But I am proud to say...that my bouncing baby girl is exactly that! Hannah is turning 7 today and she has the most tanasity I have ever seen in a human being. She has a strong will and strongly believes that if you want something, there is absolutely no reason why you cant have it. After all, she wanted to live and got that gift, what could be tougher than that fight?

She is now 100% medicine free and lives her life healthy and full of energy. I promise, if you meet her--you will never ever forget her!

To celebrate her Birthday we went out to eat for Mexican (her favorite) and then went off to Build A Bear (along with 5 gozillion other people) to spend her gift cards. And then we went to see Marley & Me (again, 5 gozillion more people). Today she will wake up to cake for breakfast and then a nice day with her family.

Happy Birthday baby girl. May this be one of many fabulous days and years ahead of you!

Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays everyone!

I sooo hope that your Christmas was as fantastic as mine was. Omigosh! We got the Wii (THANKS MOM!!) and ever since Christmas morning we have been wearing our hineys out. It was sooo funny, this morning when I said Good Morning to Heather and asked how she was, she had only one reply. "OW" We are all sore. We are all addicted and we all love it.

Aside from our gifts, we had a fantastic time with all of the family here last week. We enjoyed all of them, all of the celebrating and just the overwhelming sense of peace amoungst us. We are sooo blessed.

Cyris had his normal after lunch pose. Awww nothing like some ham...

Ronnie has had the week off and it has been so awesome with him home. We truly have enjoyed the time that we could spend just the 4 of us. God is sooooo good.

I havent had a chance to hardly even sit at my desk, let alone get my fingers inky. But I am sooo looking forward to that soon. I did, however, have a chance to make a bear.

It is with great honor that I introduce to you:

OLIVIA

She is made from 100% Raccoon Fur. Shes about 14 inches tall!

Have a blessed Saturday. Remember the little gifts arent the ones you can buy at the store. They are merely passed between friends and family. Show someone how much you love them. Smile and tell them!

A little bit of catching up...

Lorien gifted me this award awhile back on HER BLOG and I am just now getting to post it. Though even though I am sluggish, it so does not imply that I in anyway am less grateful for it. THANK YOU LORIEN!

This award means that this blog invests and believes the PROXIMITY- nearness in space, time and relationships. These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers.

And I have just a couple of people to pass this along to, though I truly believe I could give it to thousands.

Nancy Matthews-- who is in surgery right now (YAY!!!)

Lori--my bestest online friend

And the greatest gift of all....

NANCY IS IN SURGERY!
SHE GOT HER LUNGS!!!
Please pray!!!!!!

On the fourth day of Christmas...

Have I told ya all how much I love the holidays? I love the smells, the decorations, the central feel of them. Everyone is a little more warm and cozy than usual and it gives me an overwhelming connection with my family. I love that there is something fun to do everywhere you look. With all that being said I am absolutely disgruntled about the commercialization of everything. How can you anticipate the magic and the lovelyness of the decorations when you start seeing them in stores in July? How can kids truly find the magic in Santa when they get stuff all the year through? I often wonder what it would have been like to be alive back in the day of my grandparents. Money was tight but love was huge. There were no distractions like cellphones and the internet...it was simply just them. How bad could that be? Many of us have soooo much excess (notice I said US) that we hardly stop to say thank you. I love this season mainly for one reason tho. Even those that dont believe in Jesus are reminded in every corner and on every street, that Christ WAS born and Christ IS alive. They can run, they can turn their cheeks, but they cant deny it. Jesus IS the reason for the season.

Its the third day of Christmas

I was going to post a card today but I feel much more led to enter a plea. Friends, my dear friend Nancy is still anxiously awaiting her new lungs. She is now facing the move back to Pitsburgh so that if the call comes in she will be close by. She is heartbroken and sad. This is a season when EVERYONE wants to be near to home. Near to their family. Most of all, her. I ask that you join me in prayers. Please lift her and her family up high and add them to all of your prayer lists. She is such a remarkable person, and if each of you knew her personally you would surely agree. Lets pray for some big lungs huh??

Visit her blog : http://nancymatthews.blogspot.com/ , leave her a comment, send her a card...but most of all, pray.

On the second day of Christmas...

It actually snowed here yesterday...can you believe it? I am no virgin to snow as I grew up in snow country. But it always seems so beautiful when it happens here. Okay, maybe its the fact that I know it will make everything all white and pretty for just a little while and then it will disappear as fast as it came and we will be back up in the 60s.
Arent these mice soooo adorable? I just loooves me some House-Mouse. I of course colored these with Copic and also I used Diamond Glaze on each fo the berries. Arent they fun?
Today is stampin day...so I am off! Hope that your day is as equally blessed.

On the first day of Christmas...

Happy Monday everyone!

I am sad to say that my inlaws left this morning. I miss em already. Though Id be lieing if I didnt admit the quiet has been fabulous today too. I have been reading and have even had a half of a second to get my fingers inky too!

My mom in law was a doll and straightened everything up before she left so, I truly am able to sit and veg today.

Can you believe its already Christmas Card season? I got my first one last Friday! WOW! It seems like we are rushing through things. When I know for a fact that it IS the season. Usually I try to get my cards out the day after Thanksgiving. HA! This year I will be doing good to get them out by Christmas. Funny how little things just slip past us. Especially in a world where there are so many BIG things happening.

How bout you? Ready for the holiday? Decorated? Cards out? Baking list made? Shopping done?
