WHEW!

I am hanging in there...BARELY! It is amazing all of the sweat we have put into this place this past week. I have learned how to buff a floor, match paint EXACTLY and repair drywall tape. My inlaws have just been saints and there is NO way that I could have done ANYTHING without them! THANK YOU!


This is one of my most favoritest sets from Stamping up! I think it is sooo elegant!

Someday....

Someday...I WILL have time to read again right?? Lately, I have been crawling into bed and falling fast asleep before even getting through a paragraph of my book. WOW! Doggies, we have busted tail!
This set is soooo precious!! I looooove the idea of making a detachable bookmark (THANKS MARILYN) and finishing off the card that way!

Not too great with the pics, but you get the general idea. Its sooo springy and soo fun!

Hi, Becky's loyal readers! We all know Becky's in the middle of getting her house ready to go on the market, and she's barely keeping her head above water with all the painting and packing and cleaning she has to do!

Isnt this soooo precious!?! I got it from High Hopes. TOOO FUN! We are going out and about today. Looking for a new home maybe. Trying to decide where God is leading us next. Its all very tiring and very scarey...but VERY exciting too!

Flower Soft

While at my friend's house last week I had the opportunity to try out her new Flower Soft. I gotta admit, the stuff doesnt do it for me. I think I am doing it wrong.

Whew! We have been working like dogs!!! But the place sure is starting to look good. Funny the things that we just ignore til its time to sell and then its gotta clean this and gotta fix this. Why dont we do those things for ourselves? Are we not WORTH that?

Springy Mail!

The weather has been simply amazing here! I looove spring! Not too hot, not too cold and lots of new blooms!

My ribbon on this card is a little messed up and I didnt realize it til after the photo. I will have to fix that.

Copic teaser

I cant wait to show you everything I learned in class. But for now youll just have to see what I did THERE. We didnt complete any projects, but I soooo loved my little frog! He is done using a flip up motion. See the blue? See how it has no streaks or lines in between it and the green? This is flipping the blue up, the green down and then using the chisel end to go over both colors. AMAZING!


And my most favorite thing I learned was using a nasty rag and the blender solution and look!! My froggie has spots! Isnt that the COOLEST???

Hang In There

I think this card is for me. PERSONALLY. I mean I could put it in an envelope and address it to me!! Things are NUTZOID here lately! And I think, they are about to get a whole lot crazier! Yes, the rumor is true! We are moving!! Well, okay we are puting our house on the market. Weve finally decided to downsize considerably. Our house is gorgeous, our home is beautiful...but truth of the matter is that it is just too dang big! And it has a nice big payment to go with it. So its busy times here, cleaning, painting and sprucing up the place for that special buyer that is out there!

This card is using one of Dustin Pike's images! TOOOO FUN! Hey did you know that he is puting together a design team for his images? Go check out his blog. Youll love it--I just KNOW it!!! But, now if ya take my spot on the design team I might just have to hurt ya. Hehehehe....J/K of course....go enter!

Next on the list of big news....I am now officially COPIC CERTIFIED!! Yes, ladies and gents I am now able to teach all of the fantastic things that I learned. OK, well after I practice a few gozillion things. The class was absolutely fantastic! I learned SOOOOO much! I had a blast! I cant wait to start showing you all some techniques in coloring.

For now, I am off to the hardware store! YAY ME!

I got the idea for this Kite Dragon card from Michelle at Designing With Michelle. It says: Your friendship, like a kite, lifts me up! Hard to see it in the photo, but I chalked clouds around the flying dragon. And of course he is colored with Copics.


And this one is just too fun! It says The Bunny Called in Sick and on the inside it says:

I hope that you all are doing well. I have had a few issues lately with broken Mojo--but I hope that it comes back in full force soon. The little dribbles, sure arent helping my mood any!

Its Mojo Saturday Again!!

It has been a doozy of a week. Trying so hard to get back into the groove of real life. I have just been exhausted tho!

Hannah and Ronnie are off to a daddy / daughter fishing tournament this morning. I hope they have a great time. Our truck is still sick---we are trying to decide what the heck to do with the thing. Spend the bagillions of dollars to fix it....keep it. Sell it now....or fix it and THEN sell it. ~sigh~ all I know is that I am really really really missing my car.

Quiet day

This week I DID get a chance to participate in the challenge for HouseMouse. The challenge this week was Boxes and Bags. I chose to make a box. Was soooo proud of myself too cause I made this little pizza box all by my lonesome. Without a template or nothin. Arent I smart? Be sure to click on the link and see everyone elses entries.








I used the Top Note die and then of course added bling.






And the inside is just perfect for three little marshmallow eggs.

Its friday. I am thrilled. After spending all day every day with my family last week, I kind of miss them this week. But its rainy, kinda cold and a just a great day to snuggle up with a book. Thankfully other than a little laundry -- I have a free day to do just that!!

My mom recently went to see Taylor Swift in concert (DAWG!!) and she was fabulous enough to get the girls t-shirts! They both adore Taylor.

Its a good day here! My friend is coming to stamp today. I absolutely HATE that I missed yesterday with my other friends....but am hoping to get double inky today. Everyone is off to work and school and even the cat is off to the vet. Its a good day! :-)

Poor Punk is going to get snipped today. She was NOT a happy camper this morning. I am not sure if it was cause she couldnt figure out why she was NOT being fed, or cause I stuffed her in that carrier again. Either way, I am certain she wont be any more happy with me when she comes home tonight!
