Anyways. Things are bit hairy here today as I had a sick six year old all day yesterday--high fever and a cough that sounds like a 60 year old man. It was a long day and last night seemed to be a little better but not much. We slept on the couch (UGH!). She of course slept fabulously. Enough that she was feeling great and is off to school today. Mom on the other hand can hardly stand up straight and feels like she slept 8 hours in the bathtub rather on something soft. BUT! I am good. I am mom after all...gotta be right??
So here is some of the stuff I have been working on this past weekend. I have no rhyme or reason to it other than I pulled out some of my favorite stamps and treated myself to just plain fun. Just was gluing papers together. Thanks again for stopping by. Even if it is ONLY for the chance to win BLOG CANDY.
OK...so here's some Bella's. Everyone who knows me knows I live fer Bellas! They are just so DIVA-ish. And I SOOOO love to color...so they let me do that too! I dont usually put recipes with my cards cause...well if the terminology of "a pinch of this and a dash of that" makes sense, then that is how I work. My stamps are all unmounted -- therefore rarely do I know the maker of each one. And my paper is all disassembled and unless it has a sticker on it somewhere I have no idea where it is from or who made it. And since I have been a
This one is also using Bella's oval. Shes masked inside of it. COOL eh???
Mama Ellie this birds for you! I was digging around and found some bird stamps that hadnt yet made it to my stamp collection. I think the birds are pretty but I am really not catching on the bird "craze" in stamping that everyone else is. So this one is dedicated to all you bird peoples.
My style is more along the lines of this...FURRY! Check out that ribbon over there on the side. I made like a little stitching thing going on there. I thought it looked SOOO COOL and so unique. Since I didnt want to take away from HOPPER himself I like how it added just a whee bit of texture.
Its a gorgeous day here today, though colder than whodunit...but as I sit inside with my hot chocolate, I can sit and stare that the peacefulness--oh oops...that was shattered---the dog just went bolistic on a bicycler that just rode by. Poor guy...
OK....so creative peoples, go create something! FABULOUS! Non creative peoples, go do something just for YOU. You deserve it! Oh yeah...and it wouldnt be right....if I didnt tell ya one more time...to leave a comment so you can win the BLOG CANDY !
Love to all----B
PS...someone asked if we had bad hair days--I laughed out loud at this. Because...that photo up there was the prodigy of about 86 pictures. Ya know...where you try to get the dog in there...but he decides he doesnt want to sit, so you get half a butt, or a tail or an ear. Then he leaves and the little one decides she wants to make a face every time. And how bout the older one screaming...I dont want to sit by her. Mom -- shes touching me! And dont forget darling dear --saying...why do we have to do this. This is so stupid. ---so thanks for the compliment, but trust me...we have a lot worse than bad "hair" days.

I loved how you said to talk to our problems about God. That is fantastic. Thanks for sharing that Becky!
Your blog post gave me goose bumps-the good kind.. What I have learned the past 1 1/2 years (that's a story in its self) I have learned and seen how powerful and so wonderful the love of our Lord is for us. I also have learned we sometimes are so busy talking to God about what we have going on and asking to please help that we miss his whispers and his words of love and to me this was another of his whispers. To me I heard him say Ellie I'm here. So I thank you because I know our Lord is listening and all I have to do is have faith and that is one thing I have all in me :)
-God Bless you.
