A great time was had by all...

I looove holidays dont you? I love the fact that I am a part of the traditions that my children will carry on to thier families. I love making memories and enjoying our family.

This year we seemed to do a LOT of eating. But it was great fun. We had fondue one night. We had German and of course we had the traditional Lamb Stew one night too. We played games, we visited, we just had a great time. I LOVE holidays.

But since there has been so much action here, I havent put a single drop of ink to paper. HA! I wouldnt even know where an ink pad was, let alone be creative. Maybe next week eh??

OKAY OKAY OKAY...Im here!

Thank you friends for having small panic attacks and wondering if I have fallen off the face of the earth. Thank you for worrying and thank you for being concerned. But really--I am OKAY! Just been very very busy. It seems like each day has been filled with somethin er rather...but it usually does NOT entail much time in front of the computer or even at my stamp desk for that matter.

Life is really good though. We are very blessed and all is going well. It looks like our house will be jumping next week for the holiday and I am soooo excited. Can you believe we are already nearing the end of November? Geesh where does the time go?

My inlaws have been shutting down their house and getting ready for the big move. Its of course turned ALL of our homes upside down as we have had to make room for the furniture and all the fun things that we have inherited from them. Like I said we are blessed, but boy has it been chaotic and crazy. Setting up for, having a and then finishing up a garage sale is exauhsting to say the least. And we did it in 4 days. But thankfully--her house is nearly empty! And my house is slowly adapting to the added stuff. I am anxious for them to come and stay a couple of weeks with us. I know the girls are sure excited.

As for me--well, what free time I have had I have been reading. Yes folks, I am caught---hook, line and sinker for the Twilight books. Heather started reading them about a month ago and I followed close behind. OMG! I love them and am SOOOOOO excited for the movie to come out this weekend. They are sooo well written.

Twinkle is finally accepting Punkin. And Punk went to the vet today to get a clean bill of health. Well, she has the normal kitten stuff, but now she is treated and is all done with her first shots. She is growing SLOOOOWLY. But she is making her little nest in the family. And I am sooo proud of Twink for finally calming down.

ITS MY BIRTHDAY!

Happy Birthday TO ME!!! Isnt life grand?? I am 35 today! WOOHOOO!!! Life is good, God is good.

I have said it over and over again that I dont like to bring politics to the blog, but I want everyone to stop and say a prayer for our country today. Id be asking the same if McCain had won, but our lives are going to change and I just pray that its for the better. May each person be blessed.

Its Birthday Time!

For the first time in a long time I am actually excited for my Birthday. No, not cause Im so excited to turn one year older, but just for the normal BIRTHDAY celebrations! My family took me out for dinner last night. We tried the new Blue Moon restaraunt that just opened.

Wow! Is it not gorgeous outside today or what?? I am still in a fog from sleeping in so late. I was sooo tired after my week that it felt great just to sleep til I couldnt sleep no more. WHEW!

Trick or Treating went well and I think all of the girls had a fabulous time! They all looked great...it wasnt too cold and I think everything just was awesome. How bout you? Did everyone get home safe with all their goodies?
