TWINKLE BELLA CAME HOME!!!

Just a quick post to tell you all that after exactly ONE week, my princess came home!!  She doesnt appear to be hurt in any way.  She was very hungry and lethargic but after a good nights sleep and some food in her belly, she is back to being Twink.  THANK YOU JESUS!  I think she got in somewhere and got trapped.  Cause she seriously doesnt have a scratch on her and she is smart enough to hunt for food.  And all of her tags on her collar are intact.  While sleeping last night she had like a nightmare cause she sat straight up and started meowing.  Geesh--wish she could tell me where shes been so I could make sure it doesnt happen again.  In any case...my world is a WHOLE lot brighter today!

Id also like this to be inspiration to you.  Each and every day Id wake up, run down the steps and outside to call for her.  Each night Id hang another piece of our dirty laundry outside (to give off a scent), only after driving home real slow with my hand out trying to leave a trail of scent.  Id call for her before I went to bed. Ronnie said hed long given up on her and seriously thought I was crazy to keep doing all this stuff for her. In my heart, I too,was preparing for her to never come home again, but I just couldnt give up.  I hope that YOU dont give up either.  Because even though not ALL prayers are answered the way wed hope for, they are answered.  Keep the hope.  Keep on keeping on.  I know that it certainly has given me a spark to get back in the game of our life and keep on keeping on.

Hope your day is just as blessed.

Fun with the scissors!

I liked the idea of using negative space here.  Probly could have done a LOT better of a job, but as I said before...I am TRYING to get my mojo rolling again.  :)  I didnt say I was doing a good job at it!

Also had fun a few weeks ago....with Heather's hair!!!    Yeah, we snipped her long locks of blonde and now we have:

A feather duster!  ROFLOL, okay maybe not...but we have black with red tips!  Its just hair right??

And Hannah banana got hers snipped too....

Hard to believe my baby girls are growing up!  WOW!

Is this paper not the coolest ever?  I mean the brown stuff.  Do you know what it is?  Its a sample of granite countertop!!  OK...no, its not granite, but its from a flyer about countertops!  AWESOME huh??  I dare YOU to look in weird places for YOUR next supply!

I apologize, I pulled this sketch from somewhere, but I dont remember where.  I liked all of the different aspects of it tho.  The different layers.  And I thought these little stars were PERFECT!Photobucket

Baskets!

Each time that I drag this stamp set out I am in awe of the endless possibilities one can do with it.  It has been awesome using some of the different tecniques that I have stowed away too.

These photos are pathedic.  I am sooo dusty on my blog skills.  WOW!

How to cram a whole 3 or 4 months into one post.

First and foremost, thanks to everyone for your cards, your emails and your notes of condolences.  Joe's passing was a humongous shock to me and a sad time.  But I know his faith was strong and he is definitely in a WAY better place now.

This is a poem my aunt wrote, Id like to dedicate it to Joe....fits him so well.

The lights are down,

The arena dark.
The days work is done.
A cold wind blows
through hearts so sad.
But on the farthest fields
the sun shines fair.
A pack train trails out
and the sound of laughter fills the air.
Sun browned cowboys,
young of body and old of soul,
lean on a weathered fence pole,
watching the peaceful herds graze.
They talk of kids
and grandkids too,
and all the good times that they knew.
They pause in silent prayer
for loved ones left behind,
wishing them peace to find.

The Boss strides out
and settles His hat on His dark hair.
His jeans are faded and His boots far from new.
He smiles as He surveys His cowboy crew.

“Boys,” He says, as He looks out on the fields.
“There's new stock that needs tried.”
“Time to take The Lord's horses for a ride.”

The spring has been a growing time for us here at the Peterson residence.  We managed to make it thru the end of the school year.  Yes, Heather is officially a freshman in highschool now and Hannah is heading up to 3rd grade.  Both are very anxious for the days ahead of them.  Especially the SUMMER ones.

I am saddened to say that the inlaws will be moving out next week, also in that same breath thankful to say I think weve gotten along pretty well.  I am sooooo grateful for all of their help and their undying love for us and the crazy way we live!

I am slowly but surely getting my mojo back and will be posting cards up soon.  I am hoping to reinvent my craft room so I am CERTAIN you will be seeing TONS more soon too!!

And to end this cramming of info.  I am saddened to announce that my baby girl Twinkle is gone.  I hoping that it is just for a short time, but I am worried that it might be forever.  She has been missing since last Thursday.  My heart is sooo broken.  I have talked to all the neighbors, posted flyers, driven the ditch lines and screamed until I am hoarse.  I have even scattered dirty laundry all around the outside of the house in hopes that she might smell us, called the local vets and the pound.  Nothing.  So all I know to do is keep praying, keep calling for her and keep hoping that she is ok and will come jingling up the driveway any day now.

I know its been awhile since I have posted...

And for you card people I am sorry this isnt a card post.  I am writing to let you all know that Joe passed away this morning.  He had had complications this past week and was airlifted to Salt Lake City.  After a few days there he was then brought back home.

I am not sure how things came about then, as I just received the message this morning.

Please say a prayer or two for Donna and his family.  I know he will be terribly missed.
