Easter

One of my favoritest Easter stamps!  LOOOVE HIM!

So I have this thing for "BLUE" lately.  I am decorating the Easter dinner table with blue.  When I picked out Heather's new stuff to wear for Easter it was blue, and try as I could to find Hannah a blue dress...I couldnt and she settled on a pretty coral. I wonder tho....how do we come up with our favorite colors?  I mean really...why do we love what we love?  Do we look good in that color?  Me...eh...I guess--but no thats not why.  Everything blue just seems to attract me as of late.  Hmmm....inquiring minds want to know!

Whew!  What a weekend.  I got my mojo back and that felt great!  That is until my paper cutter bit the dust.  I was cussing it and getting so angry...but then I stopped and realized that gosh---I have had the thing for more than 2 years and up until recently it has worked like a dream.  ~sigh~  Didnt, however--stop my frustrations of having to stop in midstream.  I tried using my Creative Memories cutting system for a bit...HA!  That is for the birds.  TOO TIME CONSUMING.  So as soon as I can...I will need to go get a new cutter. 

Lots is happening here and let me tell ya...I am soooo excited.  I cant share the great news with you yet...but its all sooo thrilling.  Ya know....all day yesterday the weather was crazy!  It was beautiful and bright and sunny one moment and dark, dreary and torential downpours the next.  Itd clear up and bam!  rain again.  But the overwhelming feeling that I got was that even though things get really really really bad at times.  Life seems too much too handle...etc etc...theres ALWAYS sunshine to follow.  Im sure looking forward to some sunny days.  How bout you??  Hope your Monday is awesome!

OMG!  I dont think I will EVER tire of this guy!  Isnt he great??  I hope that you all have a very very blessed Easter.  Even though I tend to stamp in Duckies and Bunnies, please please dont ever even think that I am not 100% about Jesus on this holiday!  I hope and pray that you get to spend this special time with your famillies.  Be Blessed, friends!

CUTE BUNNIES!

Ya all know that I had a house full of girlies this weekend.  It was great great fun!  I wanted to show you the boxes that they made!  Arent they CUTE?!?!

You've all heard me talk of my friend Becky, and explain that she is getting into the the cardmaking world.  Well look at THIS!  She made this for her little neice and I thought it was just the cutest thing ever!  Youd think she had been doing this for years cause her cards sure look like it!  I love how she used sooo many different things.  Buttons, bling, stickers, etc etc.  WOW!  It is such an honor to know her and an excitement to witness her creativity!

I have been wearing out these little peoples.  They are soooo much fun to color.  And I am also trying to reach into my stash and start using some of my lumpy bumpy stuff.  Like this bottle cap.

I FINALLY found a use for these old earings that I had.  I have carried the peppers around for eons.  HA!  I used em!!  Aren't these mices cuuuuuuuutee!??

We've had another couple of days of rain.  Ohhhh how I am anxious for summer and hot weather.  Thankfully I sit under the flouresents all day so my SADD hasnt been near as bad this year.  But ohhhh to be out basking by the pool ... lake...ok...the water hose would even be good at this point.  So if ya drive by my house and you see me out in the yard in my lawn reclyner with the work spotlight and the long green hose just a running wildly, youll know...I have officially given up hope on summer and am making my own.

On a happy note, real estate business I do believe has gone nuts!!!!  This is one of the busiest weeks weve had in a looooooooooooong time.  I think both Kim and I were overly elated to see that clock strike 5:30 and here the slamming of the office door behind us.  ~whew~  Its great to know that the market is picking up, but boy it sure makes for some tired nights.

The girls both have friends over to spend the night tonight,  and have all dicipated to their corners of the house.  I think I hear the pitter patter of the DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) dancing in the living room with the big girls and the little ones retired to upstairs to watch Princesses and play Pet Shoppes.  Life is gooooooooood.  *knock on wood* They both have awesome friends...and its a pleasure to have them come over!  So..with my flock all tended too (yes, thank you PaPa Johns) and its been made clear that I am not needed with either age group I am hoping to get a little inky tonight.  That is, if I can keep my eyes opened long enough.

Gosh, can you believe its already Easter??  Its like right around the corner.  AGH!  Time is just zooooming by!  But that also means, its time to get the bunnies colored up and in the mail!  Wish me luck!

Happy Birthday!

Today would have been my Grandma Betty's Birthday!  Isnt it funny the things we remember?  I cant remember to feed the dog and I have to count each time someone asks me how old I am, but I got her Birthday engraved!! 

So the other day, I went to the doc.  And dont you love going when they tell you that everything is all wrong and only YOU have the power to change it?  I mean really....dont we go to the doctor in the first place for THEM to fix us??  Is that not why they get paid the big bucks??  ~sigh~  On a good note, my thyroid numbers are good!!!  Unfortunately thats the ONLY numbers that are good.  Must exercise more and eat less and cut out whites and all good stuff, do this and stop that oh and monitor those.  I left there feeling like a kicked pup.  But on a good note...as a few days pass I am gaining my strength to conquer all.  Yes, I had to go thru my phase of calling her everything but a white girl.  Did I add that the girl (my GPN) MIGHT and this is a stretch, but she MIGHT weigh 125 lbs soaking wet... with workboots on?  Yeah she is one of those barbie doll perfect little things that people like me tend to overlook.  ~sigh~  I am quite certain that she herself, has never been the Bohemith size that I am now and so taking her word on anything is really really really hard for me.  I mean, really...how the heck DOES she know what its like to be me????   Oh well....I am going along with it all and doing what she says.  So pray for me.  I figure in a few weeks I will be in one of three places.  One...back here at square one ignoring every bit advice and instruction...eating myself happy.  Or...two I will be sticking to the eating plan and doing what she says --never mind the half eaten desk that I sit at or Three...I might ACTUALLY get the hang of it and not feel as tho I have been sent to the torture chamber.   Oh how I do pray for three. 

Anyways.  Its been a crazy work week too.  Penny (my office mgr) has been out all week with her daddy who has become extremely ill.  Lord love him, and her and all of her peeps.  Its been extremely hard on her.  I think they might have some good answers now and HOPEFULLY he will regain his health.  But golly--I sure am ready for her to return to her post.  Its been nutso without her!

And I have been unfortunately giving up my life still to watch American Idol and then, you know...dancing with the stars came on this week.  I gotta say tho--dancin...nope, not so interested this year.  I guess watching the old guy--which I honor him...but he cant dance...then you have the slut er I mean Pamela...and well...I just dont see the need.  ~sigh~  and Idol....lets talk about Idol.  I could kick off at least three of four of em now.  Especially if it means we can bring Lacey back.  Lacey was AWESOME and these others...?????  I mean really?????????  *grumble*

OK...so now you got me ranting and raving.  Chatty Kathy huh?  I sure hope you enjoy your day!

Golly, miss a week er so of blogging and you quickly learn who your fans are (hi guys!!)...I hear about it from all directions.  Hahaha!  Sounds like a complaint doesnt it?  Its not tho...I promise.  I am sooo happy you all follow me around!

I dont know why for sure, but I loooooove this stamp.  Its just a simple tree.  No place to color.  Nothing spectacular to do to it.  But I think it is sooooooo pretty.  On this one I just added pink bling to spruce it up a bit.

And this one is hard to see in the big pic, but I added clear to it. 

Soooo much is happening here.  Not really much WRITING worthy, but things are moving right along and I hope to have many many great things to report about soon.   Inlaws are still here, thats great.  I am still Facebook free, thats great.  Yeah...all is good.  So stay tuned about that.

I finally got to meet her!

This is baby Mirah.  Isnt she adorable?  She is such a sweetie.  This is a week old and I am sure she has changed oodles.  But it was so awesome to get to go and see her.  We had a great great visit with Laura and Bert. 

Look at this cool pic.  I wish I could have gotten one of the front of this gargantuous bird, but look!!  Now mind you, this owl was in the tree right outside of my house.  It was broad daylight and he was right there!!!  Ohhhh I love this place I call home.  Now, I just wish that the rain/snow/sleet would go away.  Cause it is TIME for spring!!  

You will be proud of me.  I have taken pictures of what I have been working on, so I have blog fodder!!!!  Yes, ladies-- I got the hint!  I got it!!

Its Friday. Its Sunny. Its amazing!

I am certainly feeling way better now than I was at the beginning of the week.  I got an upper respratory infection that sent me barreling down.  ~whew~  But some good meds and tons of sleep and I am upright again!

I DO have some more cards to post for ya all, but unfortunately I have not gotten pics of them yet.  Yeah...remember my mojo from last weekend?  I got 11 cards done in 3 hours!  Are you amazed?  I know that I am!  The mojo is flowing!

I have also been redecorating Hannah's room.  I am really excited about it.  But golly its going slow.  I am used to being able to whip it up and down in a weekend!  ARGH!  But its coming, slowly but surely and I am really really anxious to get some pics of it.

I also, have become hoplessly addicted to American Idol.  Who is my faves?  Gosh thats really hard to say.  But lets just say I have not been too disappointed with who they have cut so far.  Let me tell ya what tho--this 2 hours a night 3 nights a week is killing me!  And oh my gosh...heaven forbid that I MISS a night!!  Crazy stuff!!

So are you gonna go out and enjoy this amazing weather this weekend?  I hope so!!  I am not sure what WE are doing!  But I am sure its gonna be something in the sunshine!

See...I told you that youd see more of that paper!  I love this little girl.  Shes soo much fun to color.  I colored her with colored pencils.  Then added a bit of glitter to her wings.  FUN FUN FUN!

Aint she cute?  I fiddled with her face so much that she almost looks like a mouse now or something.  But I looove her!  This paper I got from a friend of mine and I have worn it out this weekend...so *ahem*  you might see a LOT it in the next few cards.  I am also going back through the Mojo Monday Sketches and seeing if I can get my OWN Mojo flowing again.
